Bunker Hill Supports Healthy Kids!

We believe, at all of our schools in Coos Bay, that healthy kids do learn better. We have worked hard to make sure our students have the healthiest possible food for meals and snacks, get plenty of exercise, and make a healthy lifestyle a part of every day life. As part of that healthy living philosophy we are happy to say that Bunker Hill, along with Blossom Gulch, Madison and Sunset were selected by the Department of Education to be pilot schools in the USDA’s Fruit & Vegetable Pilot Program. This program will provide fresh fruits and vegetables to students on a daily basis during school hours.
